Product + Service Recommendations
So, here’s the deal, my friend: over the last several years, I’ve done a ton of research, consulted with top veterinary professionals, and spent thousands of dollars for Moxy and Teddy’s medical care. And I would love it if all of that effort could benefit you, too, and—most importantly—save you some precious time that can be better spent with your own furry best friend.
All of the products listed below are ones I have firsthand experience using for my boys or for my family’s dog, Mandy, unless stated otherwise (e.g., if there’s a less expensive option available, etc.). Even though supplements aren’t required, I truly believe using these products in addition to their medication kept Moxy (and now Teddy) stable in the midst of their progressive diseases.
Two critical notes, though: (1) most of these products were first recommended by veterinarians (there are a couple, like the fish oil, that I found on my own), and every single product I’ve used was also vetted by veterinarians to ensure there were no conflicts or contraindications for Moxy and Teddy’s conditions and medications. If you decide to try any of the products out, I urge you to do the same and consult your veterinarian since every animal is different. And (2) several of these products are specifically for dogs (for obvious reasons); however, many can be used for both dogs and cats, and some brands—like Rx Vitamins for Pets and Standard Process—have feline versions available.
